Spirit of Friendship Award
While we hope that every Buddy match is wonderful, the Spirit of Friendship Award recognizes those pairs whose match encompasses the true meaning of friendship, and who have become ambassadors of the Best Buddies program.
The winning pair is presented an award at the annual Best Buddies Gala in recognition of their success.
Pairs that have been matched for at least two years and whose friendship will continue long after their participation in the program is over, pairs who have had a significant impact on each others lives and pairs who have involved each other in their respective lives truly represent the spirit of friendship, and this award is for those matches.
